I hope everyone enjoyed a great long weekend and you were able to spend some time outside in this beautiful weather with your loved ones. It appears to be a lot greener out there since the last time I did a letter to the club members and I am absolutely okay with that. It has been a very busy winter and spring with Sarnia FC .....


Fall STARS Program
The Sarnia FC Fall Stars program promises to be the biggest and best yet. Players will learn the necessary techniques & skills for all levels of participant. Age appropriate training will be held by the highest certified coaches in the area.

Sarnia FC’s instruction will emphasize on improving and implementing proper techniques & skills as is applies to game situations while encouraging a fun and positive learning environment.

All instruction will be overseen by Sarnia FC Club Head Coach Jeff Cambridge.

This 8 week program has been divided into 3 age appropriate groups and is open to all soccer players ages 4 – 12.

Where: Our turf field @ Norm Perry Park!
When: Sundays
  • September 7, 14, 21, 28
  • October 5, 12, 19, 26
Micro-Stars Program (Ages 4-6)
Sessions will be held from 9:00-9:45am. Registration cost is $60/player and includes a free t-shirt.

Mini-Stars Program (Ages 7-9)
Sessions will be held from 10:00-11:00am. Registration cost is $75/player and includes a free t-shirt.

Junior-Stars Program (Ages 10-12)
Sessions will be held from 11:15-12:30pm. Registration cost is $90/player and includes a free t-shirt.

Men's Premier in Semi Finals
Congratulations to the Men's Premier team for making it the semi finals of the Premier Cup.

Their semi final game will be held on Saturday, July 26th @ 7:00 pm in Strathroy (Portuguese Club).

Come out and cheer them on to victory!

  YMCA Lending Locker:  Used sports equipment for youth!  Please do your part by donating used sports equipment in decent but not torn or ripped condition (personal items not accepted: jocks, mouth guards, etc.).

IItems can be dropped off at the ESSO YMCA Learning & Career Centre, 660 Oakdale Drive, Sarnia (Monday - Friday 9am-4pm).  For more information, please contact Taryn Charbonneau @ 519-336-5950 Ext. 236.
